Why ABS?

ABS is one of the most popular engineering plastics in 3D printing. It combines high strength with good heat resistance and is particularly suitable for components exposed to mechanical stress or higher temperatures. Furthermore, ABS can be post-processed, for example by sanding, drilling, or painting.

Printing recommendations

For optimal results, an enclosed build chamber is recommended, as ABS is more prone to warping during cooling than PLA. The recommended printing parameters are based on tests with a Bambu Lab P1S.
